*Perspective. *Stillness. *Awareness.

These are lessons that I have been learning while passing the time, while fighting the fight, while running the race.

It’s a long story, and there are many stories in it, perhaps one day I will write it. I learned and changed many times.

I’m learning to love writing the way that I enjoy drumming and cooking. I can’t help but be passionate about it. It calms the soul. I learned these things because I wanted to.

I don’t even know where to start with photography.

We are passionate about “things” (whatever you who are reading this, know for yourself), because we learned them. We changed how our minds worked. We made ourselves different than other’s but modeled ourselves after something that we wanted in the moment.

We flexed, we adapted, we justified,

We became.

We learned. We changed.

Change is happening today. Change is happening every day. Sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, change always.

Some things never change.

Most things do.

I vividly remember the last time that I ran to my father, while weeping with joy. That was a long time ago.

It was right after someone tried to fight me.

He lost.

I’ve won.

I’m running to my Father again, different father, different level of respect, I ran past the old one a long time ago. I honour them both for my motivation. My mom too for that matter.

My siblings steal my potato chips.

Yet, I love them still.

Whoops.

Stillness, the race has been won.

That’s called a change in perspective.

You should be aware of it. Yes that’s a You statement. I hear them all the time.

This is ground that we have not yet covered. We don’t wholly understand it. The race isn’t over.

Once we realize that there is no argument for the judgement of others, we only have ourselves to fight, race against.

Say nothing to.

Let’s focus on the ultimate you before we identify anything else.

Learning and change are life itself. Embracing life or embracing death is no different the. Starting and stoping.

Usually when you run a race, you don’t stop until you’re finished.

I learned that one the hard way.
