I’ve been sitting on a lot of past work. DVDs stored of weddings shot yrs ago.
This engagement shoot was one of my favourites. For this couple, it was love at first sight, and they have grown a beautiful family since. We started the shoot on a beautiful afternoon in downtown Chicago. Finding hidden gems along the way is the best part of revisiting a session like this. Rachel and Dan were fearless, and had fun. Genuinely in love. Both were willing to roll with an idea that came to mind as I strolled to meet them in the park. The cab ride home would be wet, they didn’t care. So fun.
