Throwback Thursdays.

It’s a good day to recognize the road traveled, and steps taken.

I learned photography when a good friend of mine insisted that I buy the “vintage” camera from the pawn shop.

I reluctantly abandoned my latest and greatest camera choice, and paid the $25. A Yashica 50mm 1.8. Film. Money well spent. That fall, during a month long road-trip to North Carolina, I learned, frame by frame how to use that camera.

This is the first image that I took with intention. It’s the first time that I considered the moment and the creative direction. I remember how free it felt to create art with the camera that way.

Life is journey.

Tomorrow, lets stay still.
